Who We Are

EVN Productions is an independent production company with the goal of creating innovative projects through championing new voices and emerging talent in film and theatre.

Our creative emphasis lies in telling in stories that embrace strong female characters who stand at a crossroads or at the brink of transition.

Our History

To date, EVN Productions has produced critically-acclaimed works in New York, Los Angeles and the company's new home, Austin, Texas. We are actively seeking literary adaptations, original screenplays and stage plays.

Producer

Elizabeth V. Newman, a native New Yorker, has directed and produced criticically-acclaimed film and theatre in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and Austin, TX.  She graduated from Yale University with honors in Theatre and History of Art and earned her MFA in Film Production at Boston University. She serves on the B. Iden Payne Awards Council as well as the board of Yale in Hollywood.  She serves at Artistic Director and co-Managing Director of The Filigree Theatre.For more info please visit: www.elizabethVnewman.com
